Bah Humbug
Dec. 20th, 2007 10:44 amNo more Journeyman. I mean, I'd heard that it might get canceled, which generally means that you might as well wave goodbye now, but I hadn't heard for sure. And now last night's episode was the last one ever. Which makes me sad. I really liked the show.
When the show first started, I spent a couple of weeks going, "Should I watch that tonight? I don't know..." This wasn't the show's fault, but it was on after Chuck and Heroes and I can only sit still for so long without getting bored during commercials. But two or three episodes later, it completely sucked me in. At first, mostly because of Kevin McKidd. Later because I wanted to know what exactly was going on with the time travel.
And, sure, the episode plots weren't necessarily that new and exciting themselves, but I liked the characters and their interactions with one another, the little bits of their history that were revealed every now and then.
I kind of had the feeling last night when the credits rolled that this was the end. While I'm annoyed that a show I enjoy has been canceled, the way it ended was kind of perfect. So I'll just try to think of it as coming to the end of a book I loved reading and leave it at that.
