This gave me a laugh: The Landlord, starring Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Pearl.

I know Will Ferrell gets on quite a few people's nerves, but I can't help but be fond of the guy. I think a lot of that comes from interviews I've read with him and his ability to separate public and private personas.

And I was completely in love with him in Stranger Than Fiction.

I will admit that there have been various scenes of things where I've had to cringe away, afraid they'll go someplace I'd rather they didn't. But usually it turns out okay.

Stranger than Fiction is on my netflix list but its way down the list. Poop. Good to know it's good, I heard mixed reviews. Just saw Blades of Glory. SO good. (Duh.)

I loved Stranger Than Fiction. I think that at the very least you'll appreciate it as someone educated in an English department.

if you do see blades of glory (i've seen it twice) bring kleenex because i can't count how many times i started crying from laughing so hard!
