I've said it before and will probably say it again: I'm basically good with SGA as long as Sheppard and McKay are present and bickering affectionately. So I keep telling myself that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, as long as the show continues to make me happy.

SGA - "The Game"

Mom called the end.

I enjoyed this one, especially all of the bickering between John and Rodney. And Zelenka and Lorne! (Mom just asked if they were the "poor man's Rodney and John.")

- Why are we mentioning Katie Brown? Randomly? I mean, I know it's SGA and I don't really expect much from it when it comes to continuity, but Katie got one mention last year. And suddenly there's dinner? (Maybe he's reconnecting after his near-death experience. Maybe it was a science department dinner and there was a group.) Did love everyone's reaction to the question, though. And, also, John's eating an orange. Rodney's not freaking out. Plus, it kind of looks like there's a mandarin-like substance in his salad. What else that's that color goes on salads?

(OMG, obsessing over pointless details. Make me stop.)

- Lorne. Yea!

- Are we getting new credits next season?

- Oh, the possibilities. They've been playing games behind everyone's backs whenever they've got free time in a room no one else knows about. Hmm. Yeah.

- Loved the season one uniforms. And Rodney's blue shirt. The whole flashback basically. Especially the peeking over the consoles. Rodney totally plays the Sims and has little characters of everyone he knows.

- Basically every single look exchanged between John and Rodney made me happy.

- Laura Harris is very pretty. Loved her on Dead Like Me.

- Liked both of the avatar people. The guy was strangely like Sheppard without the hair.

- Was impressed with the fact that Rodney was nice to Nola without ever once hitting on her.

- Loved John tugging Rodney around. Even though it did seem just a little weird, like an unnecessary connection, though I'm certainly not complaining.

SHEPPARD: We gotta do something first. Come one.
McKAY: Do what?
SHEPPARD: I've got a plan.
McKAY: What plan?
SHEPPARD: Oh, come on already.

- Chess! They still voluntarily choose to spend their free time together. Love the "ha"s from both of them. And the "best out of ten." Oh, boys.

So I could probably say something about how their respective ways of running a country reflect or give insight on their personalities, but I don't really feel like thinking about it too much. I mean, it all seemed straightforward and obvious to me. Plus, I am lazy tonight.

I feel useful today. Tom actually asked me for help with his school work! And, since it had to do with a works cited page, I was able to help him. Apparently he never asks for help with anything, so this is kind of nice.
