Nothing Better To Do
Dec. 18th, 2006 03:27 pmToday I got up and Dad made me breakfast and then I went back to bed and dozed until 1, which was nice. But then when I finally went to shower, I go into the hallway and it's absolutely freezing. Turns out at some point Bud (who is going to the vet tomorrow) let himself in, which left the door wide open. I have no idea how long it was open. I have no idea if other critters got in. We really need to teach that dog to close the door behind him. That'll be much more impressive than being able to open it.
So basically I've spent the day doing diddly-squat. Could have gone to Moses, but the last couple of days I've felt a bit under-the-weather, physically and emotionally. So I stayed home with the house to myself. Yea. Finally got to watch Flightplan. I really like Peter Sarsgaard. There's just something about the way he looks that makes me want to watch him. The heavy-lidded eyes, probably. And, hey, for once I was pretty much fooled plot-wise (except for the whole knowing how it would end). Sean Bean plays the baddie so often he makes a great red herring.
Tonight Tom's got a band concert. That will either be really great or really terrible. Or in between. It's hard to tell with the high school some years.
