Now That's Entertainment
Dec. 4th, 2006 08:43 pmI've gotten caught up on Torchwood.
Tosh has really grown on me, partly because she's smart and competent and that's nice to see and partly because, after "Greeks Bearing Gifts," I kind of know where she's coming from. I'm always afraid that the people that I think like me don't actually like me at all. (
ginnith knows this.)
Anyway. Mind-reading. Not a good thing. But now I finally get the emo-rats that have been floating about the fandom.
Which kind of leads to "They Keep Killing Suzie." I basically spoiled myself silly for this one. I knew the rumor, which I don't really count as spoilage, but then last night I just couldn't stay away from other people's comments. I really should have some self-control, but new obsessions do that to me.
Having seen the ep and thought about it a bit? My reaction is still insane grinning, minor hand flailing, and some high-pitched noises thrown in for good measure. Because OH MY GOD THEY WENT THERE. I am not left in fangirl wasteland!
Now what I want to know is when did it start? And what, if anything, are they going to do about/with it?
In conclusion, SERIOUSLY, OMG.
I think I'm gonna need a Torchwood icon.
I'm allowed to get excited. Which leads to the trailer for Hot Fuzz (from the creators of Shaun of the Dead) and the trailer for A Dog's Breakfast. I've seen links for it everywhere, but I figured, hey, why not join in.
There has been a lot of giggling here today. A lot.
