Oh the Drama of Fake Life

Well. This should be an interesting season.
Are we surprised Christian has power and sex and intimacy issues? No, not at all.
Are we surprised his most intimate relationship is with his best friend? No, not so much.
Christian's got a big ol' mancrush on Sean. But, hey, who wouldn't? He's funny and caring and adorable and, yeah, he screws up and is a jerk sometimes, but who isn't?
(For whatever reason, this just popped into my head. "Were I unwed, I would take you in a manly fashion. 'Cause you're pretty.")
How does having a statue of a penis in your living room make you manly and not gay? Did love Sean's little "oh" as Christian explains that it's art.
Enough about Christian and his possible sexual identity crisis. Let's talk about Sean, who really is just too adorable sometimes for words. The bit with the balls? Was very amusing to me. And then when he was so excited about the baby and family and oh! Rehearsing with Annie! AW.
And then the problems with Julia and the baby-on-the-way. I'm not entirely sure what to say about all of that. So I'm just not. Except to say that I'm glad that Julia actually finally told Sean about it. This keeping of major secrets is not a good thing. I'm a little worried that Sean's going to pull the "but I'm having a handicapped child" excuse out a little too often to excuse bad behavior.
Really liked the way the ep ended with Christian sitting alone in the bar with the music gone quiet. The show uses music a lot (and I like a lot of it), so using silence here was nice and effective. Aw, Christian.
So yeah. Mostly I sat there and was overly excited through all of it.
Also, I could have sworn I saw Escobar in the previews for later eps. Was he there or was it someone else?
Loved the preview filled commercials. Really want to see Running with Scissors and Stranger Than Fiction.
Also watched House. I had a moment of WTH? because his cane was gone and since I don't watch it regularly (because of work) I didn't know that he'd been shot last season and that experimental surgery and drugs had gotten rid of the cane. Now, I hate to say this, but there's a part of me that wants it to fail because I want the cane back. It's just weird seeing House without it to lean on. He stands in rooms and he looks, I don't know, unbalanced? lop-sided?
And how much do I love Wilson?
Loved the moment where the dude stood and hugged his wife and son and Cuddy shed a tear. It got me a little teary, too. It was good stuff.
Then there was Standoff which I really enjoyed. Wasn't entirely predictable, and that's always a good thing. Ron Livingston and Gina Torres are great to watch do just about anything. Erin Chambers (Sora from SGA) was also in the pilot. And Michael Cudlitz was in Band of Brothers. Small entertainment world.
Whatever happened to Sora anyway? Is she still a prisoner on Atlantis? Or did they negotiate her as part of a trade with the Genii, which I've heard rumors was cut from "The Siege"? If something like that is cut does it mean it didn't happen?

I can't remember the exact details, but it seems like it was after Escobar's face change, because I remember thinking, "Why does he look like the old Escobar and not the new one?" But yeah, I'm still trying to figure out the details in my head again.
