annundrielWell, Oscars were better than I thought they would be. Loved that Renee Zelwegger didn't win for Best Actress. I really liked her in Bridget but now her head is way too big for her body. And she has no eyes. Nicole Kidman won instead and I was happy for that. She's so much better off without Tom. And I really want to see The Pianist! Doom it! It will never ever be out anywhere near me and I'll have to wait ten forevers! And even though I've never seen Adrien Brody in anything before, there is something strangely appealing about him.
Neatest win of the night was costume design. Colleen Atwood won! She's from Quincy! That's 20 miles from me! My dad knows her dad and went to school with her sisters. She did Joe Versus the Volcano which is maybe my favorite Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movie. Neato.
Have to go to a school board meeting tonight to approve our senior trip. Blah. They'd better say yes seeing as we've practically got everything prepared already. Marissa will run them through the trip schedule and I'll tell them why a theme park and boat ride is educational. I'm so good at BS when it really matters. *grin* "This boat ride will be educational because many students have never been to the Puget Sound or on a boat. We can learn about the different weather and the coastal formations blah blah bliddy blah."
