A Kiss Before Dying is on TV. Haven't seen it before, but I just got to see something nasty happen to a young(er) Ben Browder. He was hightops (is that what those were called?) and had floppy hair. It was weird.
So, I seriously spent most of Project Runway with my hands over my eyes. I don't like confrontation and since as a viewer all I can do is watch what I'm shown, it's not like I feel I can comfortably side with anyone. I didn't like Jeffrey in the situation 'cause he was being a bit of an ass. I didn't like Angela in the situation because she needs to own up to mistakes (if she is in fact making them). I don't remember what Laura's deal was, but I didn't blame her for getting annoyed. I've been in similar situations where it's none of my business what the people around me are doing, but their bickering is distracting and annoying and so I just have to stick my foot in.
Jeffrey makes very good duck noises though.
I thought it was kind of neat that they changed things up with the models this week. Poor Bradley, picked last fordodgeball fashion.
I really like Michael. A lot. His model looked amazing. That was a pretty funny face Tim made when Michael mentioned hot pants though. But, oh, they looked so much better than the skirt he had. And he was right, pants would have been too much of that pink.
Bradley was liked here, but when it came to the elimination tonight, I have to say that I wanted them to just put him out of his misery. I can only stand to watch someone struggle each week for so long. But the Cher thing was really really awful. Like a weather balloon mated with a baked potato. How does he not know Cher? Maybe he is a straight man in the fashion world and has been living under a rock since the beginning of time since that's about as long as she's been around. It's kind of sad he's gone, though, with all of his funny little sayings.
I really liked Angela's update of Audrey Hepburn, but I wondered if the judges would think it was too close to the little black dress that was in the photo.
Kayne's was very neat. My only thing was that I thought it was a little unflattering in the ass, but that's just me.
What's with Robert and the funny coats? He needs to stop with those. I like him and I don't want to see him get eliminated. He should have just stuck with whatever he was planning with the Tiffany-blue fabric. I think last week made him too cautious.
Uli remains awesome.
Vincent remains...weird. They should have gotten Twiggy on the show. 'Cause that was just...no. It wasn't updated and modern at all.
I liked Alison's design. Jeffrey's was interesting. Laura's was a little scary in just how spot-on it was.
Um, what's going to happen next week? I already can't remember.

Date: 2006-08-10 09:45 pm (UTC)I'm so ready to see Vincent gone. Also, yes, I did feel bad for the models because that bag was completely random and they didn't even get a chance at all.
