I should learn not to venture off of my LJ to read episode reactions. It spoils my general mood. I try to stay away from places that are just going to bring me down, but I want to know what other people think. I don't really think about things until it's too late sometimes.
I guess the thing it comes down to is how easy I am to please with television. And I mean I'm really easy when it comes to entertainment most of the time. You give me a couple of days, and maybe I'll be more uncomfortable with SG-1/SGA, but coming off of a SciFi Friday high, it's hard for me to be thoughtful about anything.
But, uh, back to the easy thing. Like I said in the last post, you put Ben Browder and David Hewlett in the same scenes together, I'm probably not really going to care what they're doing because it's Ben and it's David and I love them both. Then there was that interview with Ben where they asked him about the crossover and all he could talk about was how wonderful it was to work with David Hewlett. Another one bites the dust.
Anyway. I'm going to blame the majority of my bleh-ness on lack of sleep and the headache that's currently creeping up on me.
This is really just in general and is in no way related to SG in particular. Mostly I'm just trying to figure out my own viewing habits. So I wonder if this has anything to do with Dr. Berry's assesment of me as a student? She said that she chose books for her philosophy class so that each student would be riled by at least one of the books. I wasn't riled by any of them. I was able to discuss them, but why get upset about what some French philosopher said years ago? It's not like you can change his mind. So why get upset at the television? It's already happened and there's nothing I can do about it, so why not just enjoy what I can.
