I spent two and an half hours this morning on a tractor raking hay.

It was exciting, let me tell you. Actually, it was very zen-like. And not boring for the first hour+. After an hour the song that was stuck in my head got boring. I reverted to "Henry the Eighth," because if anything is an earworm, that song is. (Except I can't remember the beginning of it.)

So yes. Raking. It was an experience. I didn't suck at it and I didn't break any equipment worth lots of money. I also didn't injure myself or others. Plus, we finished that field. All in all, a productive morning. It did mean only four hours of sleep last night, but whatever.

In other not-revolving-around-me news, apparently the designer accused of being less than honest wrote a note to the Project Runway blog denying the allegations. I liked the designer fine. I'm interested in seeing more if they don't get kicked off. However, there is no excuse for NOT USING THE SHIFT KEY. See how easily I used it there? It works well for signaling the beginnings of sentences, proper nouns, and acronyms. You can also use it to emphasize something. The shift-key is handy. It is your friend. Use it.

Okay, so I'll admit to not using shift sometimes, but only to make a point or for stylistic purposes. And it doesn't always bug me, but, yes, I do have issues with the reasoning behind not using it.

Yeah. Eureka premiers on the SciFi channel tonight. As does Dead Like Me, which I highly suggest that people look into. It's a fantastically weird show.

I can't wait for Eureka tonight. I'm so utterly intrigued.

I might peek at Dead Like Me, since I've been told so many times I need to see it and I never got around to poking at the DVDs you let me borrow... but we'll have to see what I get accomplished around the house. I need to get this place in tip top shape before Michele gets here on Thursday.

But yes. Eureka. I can't wait.

Oooh. And what about that new show.. Standoff? With Gina Torres and Ron Livingston on... NBC, is it? Whatever channel... I can't wait for it this fall.

I forgot about Standoff! I think it's on Fox. Last night watching House they kept showing previews for it. Unless I was watching something else and my brain is messing with me. I'm excited. Ron Livingston AND Gina Torres. Looks like it has potential.

Interestingly enough, I too spent several hours on a tractor doing farmy stuff. And I'm looking forward to another several hours coming up. I can only say yay for mp3 players (in Ziplock bags, of course) and sound-canceling ear things. It makes the hours so much nicer.

The shift key is my friend. Except for when people TaLk LiKe ThIs. That's just dUmB.

Yay TV! It makes me happy. Sci Fi specifically.

Back to the discing, then finally the showering. Mmm...showers.

I hate it when people TaLk lIKe ThAt. What is wrong with them?? Are they having small seizures that causes their pinkie to jerk out and press down? I DON'T UNDERSTAND.
