Poking at Fic
Aug. 18th, 2009 12:47 pmWorking on the Shop Around the Corner-inspired NCIS fic. It's fun imagining the end of the movie with Tony and McGee in place instead of Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan.
The gist of it:
TIM: I was pretty rude.
TONY: Well. No. No, not really. I might have deserved it.
TIM: Yeah, I was. I called you bowlegged.
TONY: And I was going to go out in the street and pull up my trousers.
TIM: ...Would you pull them up now?
TONY: [leers] I'd much rather pull them down. [pulls them up; he's not bowlegged]
TIM: [jumps him]
Porn ensues.
The bowlegged conversation doesn't work (and that's not where I'm going with the fic anyway), but it amuses me. And makes me think of Dean/Jensen. I once had an idea for a Dean/Castiel Shop Around the Corner AU. Sounds crazy, I know. It totally makes sense in my head.
