Still Working Through My Issues

This started out originally as a comment, but then it grew and grew and I realized I could get some other things I'd been thinking about out of my head with it. So now it's a post all on its own.

It's not as clear as I'd like it to be in some places, but my head is all fuzzy so I'm not going to worry about it too much.
