Ruffled

Tonight while getting ready to watch Northanger Abbey I was telling Mom that I'd just seen an interview with James Marsden where he looked a bit different. After some thought, I figured it was because his hair was fluffier.

ME: Kind of like when Rodney shows up with fluffy hair and it's like "Who took a blow drier to his head?"
MOM: No, what I'm thinking is that when the got out of the shower, Sheppard went like this [ruffles hair vigorously] to him.

I could only stand there and grin. I'm so lucky I've got my mom.

Then Northanger Abbey was on and I quite enjoyed it. I've read the book once, but never seen an adaptation before, so I was looking forward to tonight. Oh, Henry Tilney, I love yoooou. Mr. Darcy may be the most popular Austen leading man, and I do love him, but Tilney's just so much more fun. He and Persuasion's Wentworth are probably slightly above Darcy for me.

All in all, it's been a pretty entertaining night.

And now I'm actually writing something. Wheeeee.
