Bring on the Wonder
Dec. 3rd, 2007 01:44 amAlmost two in the morning and I am pretty wired. What's with that? The only caffeine I had today was before four. But I did spend most of the day wrapped up in blankets, lounging in front of the television.
Good thing I don't have anywhere to be in the morning.
But being awake means that I got Neesha's e-mail with one of my favorite songs of the moment, Susan Enan's "Bring on the Wonder." I first heard it at the end of an episode of Bones and then couldn't find it anywhere. But Neesh has and I am a happy panda. It's just...It's such a lovely, sad song.
I can't see the stars anymore living here
Let's go to the hills where the outlines are clear
Bring on the wonder, bring on the song
I pushed you down deep in my soul for too long
