We got about three inches of snow last night. I love it when it's nice and white and untouched.
We took Bud into the vet today because he's got this thing on his on his snout near his nose. We think he got it by digging and getting scraped. He's becoming a frequent patient at the vet. Nothing serious so far, but he's been having ear problems the past few months.
He's not a big fan of the place. Which isn't surprising. But he's also kind of weird about it. Whenever we take Bebe, she shakes all over the place and you cannot budge her from the car. (Once, when my grandma and I took her, the vet was nice enough to come out and examine her there.) Bud jumps out of the car, ready to go. It isn't until you get him up on the table that he wraps his paws around the edge and does his best to get the hell out of there. Dad has a fun time holding him down. And usually the vet will put a muzzle on him, because he nipped her the first time. So when they heard his problem was on the nose they were left scratching their heads, puzzling over how to keep all of their fingers. Dad suggested using bailing twine. Which is basically what they did. Doesn't mean it was easy. For a small dog, Bud's very strong.
I just stood near the wall and tried to stay out of the way.
It was also Dad's birthday today. Didn't really do anything. We had a nice dinner and instead of cake we had apple cranberry walnut pie which was oh so good. Then we watched Waitress. We kind of had a pie theme going. Yum. Forgot how much I liked the movie when I originally saw it.
