First day of classes, haven't even had all three of them yet, and I'm already freaking out. This bodes so well.
My free time is going to go out the window. The syllabus for Survey of Brit. Lit. II is, and I quote the professor (who is also my academic advisor), "the syllabus from hell." Very very very heavy on the reading. Dr. Smith is really nice, so it should be fine in the long run. But still...
Back to reading. Gulliver's Travels. Yea. In three days. Even better. Later we have to read Frankenstein in two days. Ha! Good thing I read it last quarter.
And before this syllabus happened I was going to totally try Sara's advice about setting a goal of a short story a week just to get some writing out there, but now it looks like I may have to re-evaluate my time.
Sigh.
