Mmm. Ham.

I am officially all hammed out. Ham at both traditional Christmas stops.

EB and I dissected what was left while we sat with Tom and waited for something non-boring to happen. There were gross bits. The quote of the evening? Poking at the ham with a large craving knife-thing, EB says, "I can cut ham." And Mar (being moi) just continues to poke at it with a large fork.

That's it, folks. Therein lies the brilliance that is Mar & EB. Although I was then invited to be the writer/philosopher in the island commune EB and her friends are setting up. They don't have a writer/philosopher yet and could really use one. EB is the cook, apparently. I would record our activities for posterity. It would be fun. And possibly enlightening.

We did finally go downstairs and play Clue after the boredom became too much (it wasn't *that* bad). I played as Col. Mustard and then Miss Scarlet and was the murderer *both* times. Apparently I have homicidal tendencies. Jolly good fun, though.

Anyway. I was really just posting about the ham. Because I told EB I'd give her best quote props. And now I have.

Grr. Argh.

Y'know what's frustrating? Playing your new computer game with the official guide nearby if you get in sticky situations and STILL not being able to cheat your way out of one of the puzzles. Not cool.

It's all about timing and there's no frelling why around it. The bastards at UBISOFT are demented.
