annundrielI feel so flattered. Last Friday Performing Arts read thru my play and Mr. Pratz let me go to it. It was so funny! I hate to say it, but I crack myself up! Anyway, today both Joe and Autumn approached me about who they should try out for. Joe also wanted me to talk Joy out of trying out for Kendra. Hmm. The fact that they want to try out for it at all makes me deliriously happy. :D Also, Autumn was worried she wouldn't do well. :( I thought she was pretty good during the read thru. Auditioning is a pain sometimes. I assured them that they would be cast in the role thought best for them. Auditioning will begin next week.
I have a new favorite movie! Amélie is the cutest thing since . . . since . . . baby Hobbits. It's funny and sweet and colorful and French. I love it. It's just the sort of thing I've needed to see and haven't found. And the music is lovely, too.
Today we started a huge group project in Neiffer's. Cody is in my group. Heh. Our topic is water/water pollution and we are supposed to write an argument essay. Meaning I have to research the pro's of water pollution. Or rather, take the industries POV that "oh, we don't cause pollution" and "pollution isn't a problem". So far research is turning up . . . zilch. Oh, and Mrs. Neiffer gave a speech about the whole group writing/typing it, not just one person. Steve thinks she was specifically talking about our vocab group. *blush* But I still maintain that I didn't do all of the work. Everyday we worked on it we all sat down together, discussed where the story should go, what vocab words we should use, etc. I simply glued it together. Besides, we all got perfect scores so there. AND I had talked to Neiffer previously about concerns within the group.
You don't think she was really disappointed over it? Unhappy with us? With me? Damn.
