I've developed a twitch under my left eye. It makes paying attention to my professors somewhat difficult.
Long week, almost over. I just have Asian Religions and Art of the Film to go today. Still have to finish my paper on My Life As a Dog. (I keep typing My Life As a God, which would be interesting viewing/reading I think.) It's only one page and I've got it started so it shouldn't be that much of a problem to finish. Except for the fact that I really don't know just what to say about the film. Hmm.
I house-sat over the weekend and rented The Constant Gardener and Howl's Moving Castle. Enjoyed both. Did the smart thing and watched HMC after TCG. I needed something with a good ending to balance out the intensity of The Constant Gardener. I also watched bad movies on Lifetime because I kept catching flashes of Harper from Andromeda. Lifetime is going to end up being a guilty pleasure channel, isn't it?
Finished reading The Analects of Confucius for class and even got through what I needed to of Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching. I find that I'm really enjoying Asian Religions. The readings are complex and difficult to understand, but they are relatively easy to read. And interesting, definitely interesting. Although I am worried about having to write my own Chinese scripture.
Yesterday Julia came over with Rent. Hadn't gotten to see it before, so I was excited. Liked it a lot. Yea, musicals! And, wow, now I know where I recognize Joanne from (Wonderfalls).
Veronica Mars has been particularly good the last couple of weeks. Apparently, though, it hasn't been picked up for a third season yet. If it doesn't, that means these last four eps are the last four ever. I'll be a very sad panda if that happens and this is it. It really is a great show and I love it. Plus! It has cross-episode continuity! (Randomly, I still think the kid from My Life As a Dog looks a little like Logan.)
