I got tagged.
Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yours" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 quirky habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. I love the word "puerile" and react in a giggly way whenever it is used (in class, in fic, in novels, etc.). It's like a word kink or something.
2. When I go to bed at night, I have to look at the clock and know exactly what time it is. Sear it into my brain or something. I've kind of gotten over this now. Instead, I repeatedly check my alarm even though I *know* it's fine.
3. Whenever I run into a word I don't know in my reading I have to mark it or write it down to look it up later. If I don't, the fact that I skipped it nags me.
4. In high school (and to an extent now, but I'm so busy with classes it's hard to tell really) I hated not having a book to read. Once I finished a book, I had to have another one to start with me or I'd get a little antsy.
5. Starting in, hmm, middle school and continuing up until I left for college, I had to tell my parents "good night" and "I love you" every night before they/I went to bed. If I didn't or they didn't respond (Mom did this once or twice, not out of spite or meanness or anything. It got me shiny surprises in my lunch box.) I'd get a little upset. Something somewhere freaked me out about going to bed and not letting the people I love know I loved them. Something up anything could happen and you just can't tell and clearly I have issues. I've grown out of this one though.
I tag:
bunnysan,
ginnith,
olivelavonne,
overjoy, and
trademybike.
Do it. Don't do it. ::shrug:: I already know how weird you guys are anyway. ;)
Meanwhile, I really want to be here right now, barefoot on the grass.
