Stuff and Things
Jan. 9th, 2006 02:05 amIt's after two and I'm still wired and it's really okay because the only thing I absolutely have to be prepared for tomorrow is work at seven. PM that is. AM and I'd be screwed right now.
Watched SG-1 on Friday. Kay's big question regarded Daniel. "What's with the doorag?" (Is that even how it's spelled? Yea phonetics!) She hasn't seen a lot of episodes, because she's not into it and I am *so* lucky they let me take over their TV for an hour. Daniel's always been a fan of the doorag. Although Friday it was crooked.
Anyway. Ben Browder continues to be hot. Funny, too. But I'm feeling shallow.
Maybe it's just because it's been awhile since I saw this season's beginning, but it felt like there was a better handle on Cameron and Daniel. What I mean is that I don't *really* recall getting a sense of how they were going to act/work together at the beginning of the season. But now I like the dynamic that they seem to be developing/cultivating. I loved the back-and-forth thing they had going, very in-tune. More on a level, I think, than Jack and Daniel. (And I don't really mean "more," just in a different way.) Which isn't to take down that relationship at all, but Cameron and Daniel seem slightly more equals in some way that I can't quite pin-point. There's just an easy lets-make-fun-of-people thing going on with them that's slightly different than what was going on with Jack and Daniel. And I really shouldn't compare the two, but it happens. Anyway, I like where I see them going with it. I think they're gonna be fun. :) Yea, Sci-Fi Friday!
I tried to get better pics of Kirby this weekend. They're not the best pictures ever, but they'll do. The dog just will not sit still. He is kind of, hmmm, endearingly crazy.

It's funny. He can be a real pain in the ass when he comes tearing into the TV room and doesn't stop until he's bouncing on your head. But then later he'll come in slowly and curl up by your feet. It's those quiet times that make me go "aw" and those others that make me laugh hysterically. Because even if it *is* a little annoying, it's also pretty funny because he's just so darn happy to see you.
