That's Just Wrong
Dec. 26th, 2005 12:35 amI opened the little booklet that came with my Bertie Bott's Beans and I think, for once, I might just leave the package closed in the bottom of a drawer. 'Cause ew. Rotten egg? I don't think I can deal with these flavors anymore. Booger, Black pepper, Earthworm, Dirt, Ear wax, Grass, Vomit, Soap, Sardine, Bacon, and Rotten egg are the whacky ones. I recall Booger, Dirt, and Grass being not that bad. Black pepper, vomit, and sardine, though, were just as bad as they sound. (I'm a little appalled that I know which ones aren't that bad and which ones are terrible.) Maybe I'll open the package just to get to the Tutti-Frutti. I loves me some Tutti-Fruttie Jelly Bellies.
Day was spent doing not much of anything. Christmas has become something of a smaller holiday around here, especially when we can't/don't travel. I did some reading and listened to Joss Whedon's commentary on Serenity. (He's still a genius and I still worship at his feet.) Dinner was just Mom, Dad, and me. Tom had eaten earlier at Grandma's with the whacky pseudo-cousins. Not particularly happy with him for that. Not happy for what he said about Veronica Mars today, either. (He saw a grand total of two minutes with characters that never appear on the show again, left, and then today proclaimed it to be "gay." [Which, BTW, is one of my least favorite phrases ever, even if it was voted favorite phrase by my graduating class. "That's gay." Hate it. Will use it if I'm being sarcastic, or if something really is flamingly gay. But otherwise, no.] It's fine if you spend a little time watching a show and dislike it, but don't sit through half of a teaser and then judge it.)
Um. I've got it pretty easy if that's my biggest problem. Uncultured baby brothers and disgusting jelly beans.
Neesha's coming over Thursday. YEA.

Date: 2005-12-26 08:42 pm (UTC)When you're here, would you mind reading the story I'm writing for OJ? I'd like an opinion on it as I'm sort of discontent with how it's going/gone.
Icky work. :( Hope something interesting (in a good way) happens!

Date: 2005-12-28 12:03 am (UTC)There's no specific time that would work best, I was just wondering. Whenever you want to show up is fine by me. :) YEA Veronica Mars!
I really appreciate it. I'm feeling a little uncomfortable with what I've written thus far.
Hope today was less boring!
