Initial Sci-fi Friday Thoughts
Aug. 5th, 2005 07:10 pmSG-1 - "The Ties That Bind"
Cameron and Daniel stole John Crichton's pants.
SGA - "Duet"
Two things -
1) LOL!
2) Thank god! I'm just gonna take a little moment to breathe a tiny sigh of relief. Because McKay? Was perfect. :D
That's all, really. Probably have actual thoughts later tonight when I'm bored to tears. But right now? Let's just say I'm pretty happy.
And really frelling warm. We need AC.

Date: 2005-08-06 05:01 am (UTC)Still not sure how I feel about new guy on SGA. He's kinda ok but doesn't have much personality yet. Beckett and McKay should *so* double date. Or just date. Well, maybe not...
I enjoyed my Sci-fi Fri almost as much as if I had watched it with you. My brothers just do NOT understand the commentary.

Date: 2005-08-06 06:21 am (UTC)The bedroom thing was hilarious. And, yes, I have no problem agreeing with you - Vala/Claudia Black is just hot. (Pigtails! Leather!) She just is. It's a fact of life. Speaking of hot...how's about Cameron and Daniel in those outfits? Yum. And, well, you went the slashy route for me, but Daniel and Vala need to get it on. 'Cause I'd be totally fine with that.
I'm not sure how I feel about the new guy either. I liked him better because he's *not* being the stereotypical tough guy that is always telling people he's the tough guy and going out to prove it, you know? He's the stereotypical silent tough guy. Which I can handle better. Mostly my issues are all about the fact that physically? He does nothing for me. A bunch of people online are just ga-ga over him, but he's just not my type. (This could change in a month of course.) Give me Sheppard or McKay any day.
Speaking of hot... ;) There were a couple of parts where John just sort of leaned and stretched out and um...Yum. Heh. And I still find Rodney ridiculously attractive all things considered. (And I'm ridiculously smitten with the actor. Oh dear.)
Double date! So, should they go on a date together and have another couple join them? Or just go out with other people and date together?
Or should there just be a wild city-wide orgy?I rather liked Cadmen. Wouldn't mind seeing her and McKay interact some more. And Rodney's obviously not *completely* hopeless, since he was at least able to *get* a date with Katie.I dunno how I feel about Beckett/McKay anymore. Which is weird, 'cause when the show originally started *that* was where I saw the slash. (Didn't we see the first ep together? Before the Howard Shore concert?) It wasn't until the show came back from it's mid-season hiatus that I remembered how much I loved it and saw the Sheppard/McKay. Hmm. But I'd be ok with B/Mc. Although, by the end of the ep I was going "OMG they *lied* to us! Where is the kiss?? WHERE?" and then it happend and all was good.
It got to the end part of the date when Rodney/Cadmen touches Beckett and Mom just fell over laughing. Before that, when Rodney/Cadmen asked Beckett on the date in the middle of the night, Mom sort of gasped and was like "Is this the one with *the* kiss??" It was quite fun.
Is this comment long enough?
Y'know, you should totally come over and re-watch it with me. 'Cause I've only seen it twice now and I'm sure I have ogled it enough. ;) And then we can share commentary!
