I blame [livejournal.com profile] trademybike for this Nip/Tuck addiction. FX has been showing season one and two encores Saturday nights and last night they showed the last three eps of season two.

Holy shit.

You do not watch series' containing serial rapist/mutilators who attack when you're home alone *while* you are home alone and you have the lights off. It's a *bad* idea.

They showed the ep with Sean in the shower and the Carver outside and OMG I was not expecting that and it freaked me out so bad I almost called my mother. I would have, but it was after 11:30. And then the end with Christian? OMG.

Kasey, when is there more?? That was the end, right? Or am I just confused?

As I told you last night in between your squeeing and OMGing (hehe), I believe early September, like the first couple weeks, the third season starts. I believe the second season comes out on DVD the last week of August. Did you see all of season 2? I can't remember if you did. They may start replaying both seasons again, but I dunno. When they *first* started replaying them, it was one episode every Sunday night, starting from season 1. And then when it got near the end of season 2, they started playing 2 every Sunday night, and then started both seasons over with 3 every Saturday night. So now maybe they'll just do a Saturday and Sunday of Nip/Tuckery and play one season one day and one season the next. Aye... FX... I don't think I'd ever leave my room that weekend, if that ever happened.

Okay, this has turned into complete mindless dribble and wishful thinking. Though! I DO wish they'd play all 13 episodes of Roar. That was fan-freakin-tastic and I am so sad I only caught the last episode.

There was a lot of squeeing and OMGing, wasn't there? ::blush:: But there are so few shows out there that are consistently not crap. I did see all of season two. FX was showing four every Saturday night as an "encore presentation." That's actually how I saw the end of season one, as well. They should just do a Nip/Tuck weekend. Maybe before season three starts. So we can all just lock ourselves away and OD on it.

Y'know what I find myself really liking? Sean or Christian or someone else on the show can do something completely shitty and in the end I still like them because I can kinda see where they're coming from. Like Ava (however that's spelled) and the whole Matt and Aidan thing? *Totally* disliked Ava and what she was putting Matt and Aidan through. But then we find out she was once a guy and the man she loved could never see her as more than his "masterpiece" and only younger inexperienced men wouldn't know and suddenly there I am not hating her. It's a good show with talented people that can make you care in the end.

Mindless dribble is fun. And I live on wishful thinking. I'm sad I didn't get to see any of Roar. Sci-fi can be so disappointing with their lack of advertising.

Yeah, I thought the whole Ava twist was brilliant! Especially when Christian finds out, but the audience doesn't know what the hell is going on. That kept us at the edge of our seats. We kept screaming "What's wrong?!!?" But the biggest surprise/let down was Christian at the end and then NOT finding out who the freakin Carver is. And now all we can do is speculate as to who the bastard is. Oh yeah, and how they just kinda let Merrill die and nobody knows what's become of his passed out corpse on the floor?? I'm just counting down the weeks until it starts up again.

Yes! Merrill! Sunday morning Kay asked me, "So what happened to the guy that wanted Christian's face?" and I'm all "Don't look at me." I was a little disappointed that they didn't address that in the ep following it. Poor crazy Merrill. And even though it's crappy that they kept saying the Carver's identity would be revealed, it was a damn good season closer. AND there's, like, no hint as to who it could really be. Unless I really didn't pick up on something. Because, so far, it's just been this very freaky, ambigious serial rapist/mutalator with no connection to Sean and Christian (as far as we know) besides the pro bono fix-'em-up cases. And their own personal attacks, of course. But, yeah, the Ava thing really was brilliant. Every twist on this show has been brilliant, imo. Maybe I'm just distracted by the shinyness of it all.

I'm so glad that I got into watching without knowing anything about it. Every plot twist has been a surprise and everything that should be suspensful has been. All because I'm not spoiled. I've gotta keep this up. It's quite fun. :)

Ack! Mary, I feel like such a little shit. I went out of town earlier today and told my buddy I had to be back before 11 cause I had to grab the stuff from you and we lost all track of time and before I knew it, I was out in Renton out in the sticks and it was 10:30. So I just got home. Soooooo, I was wondering if we can make plans for tomorrow night. Ack. And I swear this time I'll actually show up. :}

Geez, why'd you have to be such a bitch? ;)

Kidding. I figured you probably forgot or something came up or whatever. Don't worry about. It's not like I actually had to *do* anything out of the ordinary. No big. See ya tomorrow night! :)
