annundrielI've been reading for English and watching SG-1 most of today. It's quite fun.
I'm going to ramble about SG-1 for a bit. 'Cause I can. :p
Watched "Secrets" today and actually squeed when Jacob showed up. Love him. So weird seeing his first appearance (season two) not long after seeing his last (season eight). :( Sad panda. But yea! Jacob. Poor confuzzled Jacob, who can't understand why his darling daughter wouldn't want to join NASA and go into space. (It's her dream after all.) Hee!
Love Jack's bit with the reporter dude. "That's O'Neill with two L's. Two. There's another Colonel O'Neil with one L. He doesn't have a sense of humor." Lovely poke at the original movie and Kurt Russell's stick-the-mud O'Neil. I giggled. I spend a lot of the shows giggling.
Also watched "Bane." Adored Ally. She kicked ass with her water gun and befriend Teal'c and her "I don't like the way you smell" to Maybourne. Heh. Take that! LOVED Teal'c and Daniel going to see her in the end and Teal'c nailing Daniel with the water gun. So funny.
Randomly, there's something really funny about Bra'tac and the whole "Hammond of Texas" thing.
Anyway. Finally got to the Tok'ra episodes. Martouf! Selmak! But mostly, Martouf! I really liked him. I really wish I didn't know what was going to happen. But, yea! So glad to finally see Selmak and Jacob "blend." Love the Carters. "You can sit around for hours cracking yourself up."
I can't really explain this big Martouf-love. I've only seen him in two episodes, but there's just something about the character. I dunno. Just...something. Also, "Martouf" is fun to say. *g*
"Spirits" was good, too. Crazy shape-shifting aliens. Their nose-gill-things kinda freaked me out. Loved the bit between Daniel and Jack...
DANIEL: Jack?
JACK: Daniel?
DANIEL: Are you you?
JACK: Yeah. You?
DANIEL: What?
JACK: .... Never mind.
The show makes me happy, what can I say? *g*
Martouf is in Ginger Snaps Back!! OMG. Now I'm really going to have to watch it.
