This would be a perfect opportunity for the real Trickster (or even surprise!Gabe) to teach Dean a lesson by turning him into Cas- it has nothing to do with the fact that I would love to see Human!Hunter Misha/Cas and Tench coat!Angel Jensen/Dean.
'I think the overall pace so far has been a lot more even than last season, where they seemed to forget about the looming apocalypse until, yeah, it wasn't so much looming as stomping on them.' That is so true. One of the things I hated about last season was that most of the time whenever they had a MOTW episode, the Apocalypse (along with Cas) didn't even get mentioned so it really felt like it was happening in a bubble.
