RPS Drabble

annundrielI'm in the last stretch of a fic and my brain goes, "Hey May, instead of that, how about Misha's hands? Aren't they great? And how about when he fidgets? Yeah, you should do something with that."
So, until I maybe do something else with it, a drabble.
Distraction
Misha’s hands are damn distracting, especially when he’s got something in them. Or on them.
Right now it’s a ring, heavy and silver, that won’t stay in place. Jensen’s been watching it migrate up and down, from finger to finger, Misha’s restless energy transferred to ten fidgety digits.
Hypnotized by Misha’s fingers and flashes of silver from across the room, Jensen can’t look away.
The spell’s broken when they stop, Jensen looking up to find Misha watching him, a slow smile creeping across his face. He nods acknowledgment.
Jensen swallows, nods back.
Misha’s fingers pick up where they left off.
So, until I maybe do something else with it, a drabble.

I generally don't care for RPS -- it feels rude to me -- but apparently these two men will make me abandon every standard I ever had. Sigh.

This is such a reminder of yesterday. Yay! Convension!!
I'm not usually that intimidated. By people, in general. But i'll admit it was my first con. And, wow... I got lucky and in the crowd Misha's eyes caught mine a couple of times. We managed to get seats in the second or third row.
First time though, he was like... full on grin, laughing at something and suddenly, my brain just froze blueblueblue ... I looked down. Seriously. Like, instinctively.
So weird.
I feel like the Jensen of your fic.
Misha was so cool. He's the life of the party and at the same time, he gets so self mocking that you cannot, for a second, believe that his showing off is ego.
Tracy was fantastic, she sung and danced for us. ^__^ So at ease, like a mini woman version of Misha. and it was her fist con!
And Alona... wow, she was actually intimidated by us and shy during the photoshoots. Adorable. She told us that they shot the episode of her death on her birthday. "Kind of sureal to walk around all bloodied up with your guts hanging off all day on that day." You bet.
Anyway. I'm rambling! Loved your story. Again.

Aw, Alona. That would definitely be weird, running around like that on your birthday.

Diversion

Misha bites back a vulpine grin. Fun as it was pretending he didn't know Jensen was watching him, this is better.
He slips the tip of his middle finger into the ring, runs it around the smooth inner walls. Slides the ring down to his first knuckle, then withdraws almost all the way. He glances up and does grin: Jensen's eyes are huge and dark, transfixed. Misha slides in up to the second knuckle and Jensen licks his lips. He really ought to be more careful when he does that. Somebody's going to take him up on that someday.
This time, the ring bottoms out at the base, and Misha tips his hand so Jensen can see the perfect fit. Jensen actually twitches, and it's all Misha can do not to laugh out loud. After that, it's easy: the lazy motion gliding in and out, back and forth.
At his first opportunity, Jensen bolts towards his trailer. Misha shakes his head and leans back, making himself comfortable. He'll just give Jensen a couple of minutes before he interrupts. Misha looks down and spreads his fingers thoughtfully.
He'll leave the ring on, too.

There seriously needs to be more Misha/Jensen and I honestly usually find RPS a little awkward to read but I couldn't help NOT reading yours... so now I'm hooked. And of course all people want to write in J2 which means it is up to you to make it happen. :)
