01. The other day sdrohc_ratiug were texting each other what it would be like if Eric Kripke did Buffy and Joss Whedon did Supernatural. Then there were crossovers. It was entertaining.

annundriel: If SPN were done by Whedon, Dean and Cas would make out.
sdrohc_ratiug: Haha it's true. But he would also break everyone's heart and EVERYONE WOULD DIE.

It's a win-lose situation.

02. Just want to send a big thank you to wynna_pendragon for the v-gift! I've been in a bit of a rut lately and it totally made my day. <3

03. Writing briefs is not my favorite thing to do ever.

04. Finished reading Joe Hill's short story collection 20th Century Ghosts. Really enjoyed it. Got it from the library and may have to buy my own copy. I'm still trying to figure out all of the implications of "My Father's Mask." (A story which you should not read in the middle of the night because you may be woken up an hour later by the dog barking and the sound of doors opening and closing and start thinking about how in-the-middle-of-nowhere you are and people in masks and so-on.)

Even before I got to sdrohc_ratiug's bit about Joss killing everyone, my first thought was, "BUT ONE OF THEM WOULD DIE IN A HORRIFYING HEARTBREAKING ACCIDENT AND/OR MURDER AND THEN THE OTHER WOULD DESCEND INTO A BROOD SO DEEP THAT THEY MAY NEVER SEE DAYLIGHT AGAIN."

I was just thinking about that! Lots of it could have stayed the same. They thought they were getting into one thing, and then Sam's the one that pulls Dean out and it turns out, hey, he actually wasn't in hell at all.

And then Castiel would have to enter the scene in some other way.

But I don't want Cas to be Jossed!!!!

If Kripke did Buffy...man, I am interested to see that, but damn....SPN would be strange to see, it would turn out very campy in my opinion.

Total win-lose situation there, I agree.

It would turn out a bit campier, yeah. Though I think I'd be okay with that? As campy as Whedon's shows can get, I still think it they all hit some really great, resonating emotional notes.

Either way, though, both shows would end up massively depressing I think. Especially Joss' SPN. Campy, and then BAM! all of your favorite characters are DEAD.

Oh yeah, i could totally deal with the campiness of everything, and you are right how they touch upon the emotional bits, its some of the reason why I loved Buffy so much.

In Joss' SPN he would let us have Dean/Cas, but kill either one in an emotional scene and we'd all *die*. I would personally be tossing my popcorn everywhere going "wtf?!"
