sdrohc_ratiug. Because I felt bad about forgetting to include the pairing in my drabble round-up. The title is from Andrew Marvell's "To His Coy Mistress", which is now, strangely enough, giving me other Eric/Jack ideas. (omg, am I going to have to give them their own tag?)
Eric Northman/Jack Harkness. PG. 130 words.
World Enough, And Time
Eric runs a thumb over the newly unmarked skin of Jack’s neck. Unmoving, Jack watches him with hooded eyes.
“They won’t stay,” Jack says after a few minutes. “No matter how many times you try.”
“Hmm,” Eric hums. “Fascinating.” He moves his hand away, across planes of unmarred territory. Jack arches into his touch like an animal, sinuous and feline.
Smirking up at him, Jack adds, “That shouldn’t stop you from trying.”
Leaning closer, Eric feels Jack’s pulse quicken. “What are you?” he asks, lips so close to skin he can almost taste it.
Only the tension in Jack’s hands and the quick stutter-stop of his heart betray him. “It’s a long story.”
Jack doesn’t flinch, gives only a low groan as Eric’s teeth graze his skin. “We have time.”
