Dean talks Castiel into watching porn with him.

Another "first time" fic. Thanks to mulder200 for the prompt: How about the first time Cas watches porn? Because you know Dean would have talked him into it. Thanks to mclachlan for the quick read-through. Title from Tom Lehrer's "Smut."


Castiel does not understand the appeal of the images currently displayed on the television screen. He understands the appeal of sex—intercourse, fucking, making love—now, thanks to Dean, but he does not understand this.

“Why are we watching this, Dean?” he asks, turning away from the screen to watch Dean’s profile instead. Dean’s attention is hooked on the screen itself, legs splayed as he hunches against the pillows. Castiel feels very stiff in comparison, even dressed down as he is, shoes off and shirt half-unbuttoned. “Dean.”

Blinking and licking his lips, Dean finally turns to look at Castiel, tipping his chin up to meet his eyes. “Yeah? What?”

“Why are we watching this?”

Glancing quickly back at the screen, Dean shrugs. “It’s porn, Cas. It’s fun. Y’know. Sexy.”

Castiel thinks about that for a moment. Sexy. Causing one to think of sex. “You mean you…become aroused watching it.”

Dean chuckles and rolls his eyes, but there’s no malice in the movement. He gestures at the television and then down at his lap where his penis is clearly becoming hard, and says, “Well, yeah. That’s kind of the point.”

Castiel looks from Dean’s face to the television, down to the erection beginning to strain at Dean’s jeans, then back to his face. He still does not grasp the appeal of the…film to Dean, but he can understand the intent. “I become aroused watching you,” he says, licking his bottom lip.

Tracking the movement with his eyes, Dean flushes and mirrors him. “Yeah,” he says, voice gone suddenly hoarse. “Yeah, I guess we don’t really need that, do we.”

And then he’s wrapping his hand around the back of Castiel’s neck—Castiel relishes how perfectly it fits there—and pulling Castiel down to his level, tipping his chin up more until their mouths meet.

The next time Dean looks at the television, it’s only to turn it off.

Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! It really made me think about how Cas experiences things through his connection to Dean, and where he wouldn't necessarily have a reaction to porn, he would have a reaction to Dean because of his connection to him.

I kinda surprised myself when it didn't actually lead to porn, though. ;) Thank you!

FFFF, CASTIEL. OH ILU. He is just so oblivious to human things like modesty and subtlety. It's great. :'D

I have to admit that I am aww'ing at this, and idc that it is a prelude to porn. I like sweet preludes. They are adorable and warm and I really enjoy when the smut isn't just about well, fucking. Sweet preludes attest to that, I believe. :D

I love it when Castiel just...comes out and says things.

It could lead to sweet porn, I'm sure. The kind that would surprise Dean, because there he was all ready to watch something really explicit and see if he could get Cas all worked up, and Cas just...cuts through all that with a few words and then it's not just getting worked up over some anonymous bodies on his screen and it doesn't just lead to fucking (as though what they do could ever be just fucking), it's so much more and better and deeper than that.
