Happy Making
Sep. 9th, 2009 02:46 pmOf the Good:
- My SPN season four DVDs came yesterday. And season five starts tomorrow! First time watching the show with the rest of the fans. Exciting.
- Glee! TONIGHT!
- Merlin series two preview!
- BOX OF PUPPIES!

::FLAIL::
There are two that are practically identical. I call them the Bookends. There's also Dracula and Cracker/Crackerhead (there is a black spot on the top of her head that's shaped like a Goldfish cracker, or a keyhole). And Chuck. As in Ground Chuck. Because he looks like a Holstein.
♥♥♥
Of the Less Good:
- Port meeting was 3.5 hours last night. Bleh.
- I'm hoping tonight's Fire District meeting doesn't take two hours. I want to be home for Glee!
- A good amount of SPN-related writing has happened in the last few days. But I'm pretty worried it's mostly pathetic. I'm thinking about trying the same basic thing from a different POV, Dean's. But I'm waiting to hear back on what's written so far.

PUPPIES!

Date: 2009-09-10 06:02 am (UTC)I'd seen Merlin before it aired on NBC. Did it get better? Well, uh, I think that's probably a layered question. I think it did a bit. There were definitely one or two early episodes that I found really dull and don't care to rewatch. But I wouldn't say it was the best show on television.
Personally, I love it. But that has more to do with the characters and the goofiness and some of the seriousness than with the plots themselves. It's one of those sort of campy British fantasy series. Plus, Merlin and Arthur clearly in love. ::nods:: Not only that, they are destined for greatness together. So there's a lot of room for fandom to play in and fandom is fun.
I don't think I actually answered your question. Sorry? I'd say it generally stayed about the same level throughout the series, ocassionally rising to really good and falling to not good at all.
