Four Things Made of Win and One Thing Not So Much

01) The Middleman: The Complete Series on DVD and in my possession. \o/ The evil puppets! The zombie fish! The sayings! ("Flowers for Algernon!" "Jumping bananas, we're in Dutch!" "I'm as serious as a Hefty bag full of rottweilers." "His heart's going to explode like a sausage casing full of weasels.") There is nothing but good here.

02) New phone! New shiny, shiny phone! I have gone to the dark side and now own an Apple product, people.

Well, okay, iTunes was already on my computer. Whatever.

03) olivelavonne is coming over tomorrow and staying until Tuesday!! I am very excited about this. We will hang out and go out to dinner once or twice and probably the movies (District 9, hopefully) and just generally relax.

04) I am really liking this song at the moment: "Under the Folding Branches" by The Veils on YouTube.


And of the Lose variety -

01) There are really weird noises happening outside. It's not thunder, but it's not the firing range either. I'm not sure what it is. Not that long ago there were other very strange sounds, but it turned out to be Ginny so I let her in and fed her. But she sounded like someone wandering around out there with a cough. I was a little afraid to look out the window.

8 GB iPhone 3G. The guy who helped us explained the differences and with my mp3 player and camera, I just didn't need 16-32 GB or voice-control or video camera. And the new ones are about $100 more. So I think I made the right choice. (I hope.)

You can totally play with it. :) Possibly even Sunday if we wanna try and do a movie.

Do you have at&t/did you have to buy the data plan?

We already had AT&T and if you look here (http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/packages/packages-details.jsp?q_package=sku3190234&source=ICipK1ipc00jtl3l&_requestid=52276), it says the data plan is required. So even with AT&T, we still had to buy the data plan. Since the farm pays the phone bill every month, I said I'd take care of that new charge.

I spent like a billion hours reading reviews and specs and trial-users blogs and eventually got mum the Sony W760a: http://tinyurl.com/mtzre4

I also got completely scared off the iphone! Haha, though yours got WAY better reviews than the new 3Gs, (The 8gb 3G was the one we were considering, too :) ) But yeah, a big deciding factor was the 30 extra a month for data she'd hardly use.

I'll be interested to see how yours works out for ya, hope it continues being a shiny phone :D
