Emergency

Grandma fell and broke her wrist.

A friend of the family who is a nurse had just been visiting. We called her and her husband back.

Mom, Dad, friend, and Grandma are currently in the emergency room. Last I heard, they'd filled out the paperwork and were waiting.

It's fine. And it'll be fine. But, God. One of the worst things is to have someone rush in and out with nothing but a, "Your Grandma fell down and they're pretty sure..."

Aw! :( thank goodness it wasn't a hip or some such -- hope she gets to feelin' better soon!

Also, I know the feeling, my family members are TERRIBLE at breaking news.

Oh, man. We've done the hip thing. Grandma, Pat, Neesha, and me in Spokane. Not fun ever, but really not fun so far from home.

Before they left, they thought she'd be home tonight with it immobilized. Still waiting to hear.
