So I am working on a fic and it was supposed to go one way, and totally started in the right spot, but now Arthur has decided, haha, no, that's not how things work.
I mean, it'll all end in sexy fun time, but seriously. This is not the fic I set out to write.
I don't know what to doooooo....
Oh. Wait.
Back on track! I think. Whining wins in the end!

Date: 2009-04-23 04:44 pm (UTC)My problem, at least half of the time, is that there are too many ideas in my head and half-way through writing something, another idea will pop up and go, "Hey, look at me! Wouldn't you have more fun if I were the way things went?"

Date: 2009-04-25 04:46 pm (UTC)I love writing creatively, but I used to get stuck and not write anything for weeks. So this year, I decided that I'd try to write a little something creative every day to keep those creative juices flowing. Some of it's original, some of it's fan-related; some of it will never see the light of day, some of it gets posted here. It keeps me from getting creatively frustrated. :)
And then there's the writing I do for a local newspaper, which is less fun.
Long answer! Sorry!

I'd love to read some more of your stories :)

Date: 2009-04-27 01:45 am (UTC)A lot of my posted writing is fanfiction. I can't seem to read/watch anything without thinking, "Well, what if...?" There are some original things here (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=annundriel&keyword=Writing) in my memorable posts. Some of that's going on six years old, though, and so could use some work.
However, if you're interested, the short play I wrote and co-directed for my school's drama department is here (http://annundriel.livejournal.com/36558.html). And I'm still rather proud of this myth I wrote (http://annundriel.livejournal.com/184048.html).

Date: 2009-04-28 04:24 pm (UTC)good thing for people who have too many different idead, you have so many places to use them
I never thought of it that way before! But you're right, you really could incorporate a ton of different ideas in one overall story universe.

Date: 2009-04-28 11:53 pm (UTC)oh that is why I wrote a tv-show in the first place, I love writing movies and shortfilms but a show gives you so much chance to form three-dimensional characters and the more you learn about them the more ideas you have and you can make them do pretty much everything since you have so much time to get them on the right track and back off...
