annundrielEvery single modern English translation of The Canterbury Tales sounds stupid to me.
At least the ones I've picked up in book stores. Sometimes if I can't think of anything else to look at, I'll find the section where they're keeping Chaucer and flip through a few editions. Can't they at least include the Middle English?
For me, there's just something lost in the translation.
