People Still Suck

Given that it's the holiday season, it would be nice to believe whole-heartedly that people are good. But when you're going to court to support a friend who's fighting for custody of her month and a half old daughter, it's kind of hard.

My stomach's in knots and there's absolutely nothing I can do for her now but be there.
