Mom said I wouldn't be disappointed this year and, boy, she wasn't kidding. Even though I knew about some of it because I was there to put suggest things to her and then do innocent eyes and go, "Gee, I didn't see you buy anything there."

I am so freaking excited about my very own Dooney & Bourke bag. It's pretty and blue and leather. I've wanted one since Franny gave one to Mom a year or two ago. But now I feel like maybe I should buy a new wallet. Which is kind of funny considering it's my brother who needs the new wallet. He's keeping his together with duct tape.

The MP3 player is going to be devoted to videos I think, since I've got my other one for music. So right now I can carry John, Rodney, and the Doctor around in my pocket. Hee.

And it's really been a David Sedaris kind of year for me. Live show for my birthday, ultimate boxed set for Christmas. I love the man, I really, really do. And now I can listen to him whenever.

Mine's from QVC, too! And so is my mom's. I just love it. Except it's a bit smaller than the last one I was using, so I have to figure out what I need and don't need.

The MP3 player is an Invion. Because I kept telling my mom I kind of wanted one for video, but I was sure if I wanted to commit to anything since my other player works fine. So far I'm happy with it.
