I finished reading Jodi Picoult's My Sister's Keeper. Unfortunately, I was at work when I got to the end and kiddo-sitting, so I couldn't curl up into a ball and cry like I kind of wanted to. Way to rip my heart out, stomp on it, and then shove it in my face. I was an emotional wreck without the ending. Good job beating me while I'm down.

Not perfect, but good. Really, it was the characters that worked the best for me.

When I first finished I was like, "you cannot be serious," followed closely by "OMG, that makes complete sense." I'm glad you liked it.

I loved it. There's a part of me that's kind of just sad to be done getting to know the characters.

And I'm really starting to think that the bit in italics before the first part (the bit that basically says, "My sister killed herself. At least, that's what I keep telling myself.") is actually Kate. When I started reading I thought it was Anna, but with Kate's italicized epilogue, it would make sense that that was her, too. What do you think?
