Just Keep Pushin' That Rock Up That Hill
Nov. 25th, 2006 07:37 pmLots of research and paper writing this weekend, but Natasha and I are going to reward ourselves with periods of laziness and movie-watching, the theme of which appears to be transsexuals. We rented Normal and Transamerica. I've already seen them both and highly recommend them.
Yea for study breaks. Not that I've really been working on anything that hard, but just the thought of what I should be working on/what I am working on can be stressful. And I'm still not entirely sure what the hell I want to write about for Modernism. GRR.
Thankfully, Thanksgiving was not stressful. I spent it with uncle, aunt, and EB and, again thankfully, nothing upsetting was said or implied by aunt concerning my family's occupation (farming) or my brother's lack of educational drive. Not having to deal with any of that made the whole Thanksgiving experience lovely. Also not having to deal with the foster cousins helped, too. I did get a little tired of all of the pharmacy talk though. There was a lot of that and I zoned out a few times because, really, I've got no clue what or who they're talking about.
Anyway. Good food. Good company. Good times. Woo.
Randomly, I want SGA season two on DVD yesterday. Why are they making me wait until January? Bastards.
