Homework Break
Oct. 22nd, 2006 04:58 pmUneventful weekend. Yesterday Natasha and I walked downtown and saw The Prestige, which we both really enjoyed. There were some surprising people in it, like Andy Serkis and David Bowie. I spent forever staring at the screen going wondering if it was Bowie and had to wait until the credits. It was just weird seeing him be...not the Goblin King. (And, scarily enough, at first he kind of looked like Tom Skerritt, IMO. And that is just plain wrong.)
Anyway, at the moment I'm glad we saw that instead of Marie Antoinette. It fit my mood so much better.
Today I've been working on reading and watching Nero Wolfe. Now I'm taking a break because there's only so much reading one can do about the poor and the homeless before one becomes completely depressed.
Is it awful of me that something as small as incorrect period and comma usage in quotations will make me click away from a story faster than actual plot content sometimes? Some days I'm just super picky I guess.
