Wired with No Explanation
Oct. 19th, 2006 03:46 amThe other day in Senior Synth...
STUDENT: I think it means blah blah bliddy blah. (I clearly wasn't paying attention.)
FR. COBB: ::stare:: No. That is the most wrong answer ever.
STUDENT: ::blink:: Well, I'll just shut up now.
It was brilliant. And completely not serious. Apparently Fr. Cobb once had a professor who would simply say, "Clearly false" and then move on.

So I know that for, oh, the whole season I wanted Michael to win. But his runway show was so, ugh, I don't even know exactly what to call it. It was boring, it was a little cliched, a little tacky.
With that disappointment in mind, JEFFREY WON. And I am completely fine with that. By the end of the show I would have been happy with Uli or Jeffrey because they were both the strongest and most interesting shows.
Anyway. There were one or two pieces I liked in Michael's collection and three or four in Laura's. But I liked all of the outfits (mostly) of Uli's and Jeffrey's.
Regarding the "scandal"? I don't know what happened there. I don't care if something really hinky was going on that we don't know about. I don't want to know about it. Jeffrey found ways to lose the pieces in question and that's absolutely fine by me. So, anyway, he cried and Uli was supportive and he and Laura handled themselves like adults and on reality TV that's pretty amazing.
And Tim was emotional and there was a group hug and just aw everywhere.
This was a damn good season. How can I love new contestants as much as these last four?
Oh, I did just want to comment on the fact that it was kind of interesting that the show didn't pull some crazy stunt on the final four like they pulled last season with the thirteenth look. Too much drama already?
It is my weekend now. And boy did I need it to be. what with the papers and this cold and the heavily obsessive-compulsive behaviour at work tonight. But now I have the entire series of Nero Wolfe to watch and shiny new things to read and four days of not going to class and/or work. YEA.
