When Project Runway started tonight I was not a happy panda. As soon as Vincent entered the room I was basically "FUCK" because I had a feeling what Heidi was going to introduce as the challenge. I hate Vincent. I think he lacks talent and definitely some taste (if I ever have to hear him say that something gets him hot/off again I'll shoot myself in the face - omg, can you imagine their reunion show?). Didn't like him; didn't want to see him again. Ew.

So, yeah, not happy.

But it all turned out okay in the end, so I guess that's all pointless, isn't it?

What designs did I love tonight? Laura's, Michael's, Uli's, and Kayne's. The other outfits left me either fed up or ambivalent.

- I really liked Laura's lace work and the neckline of her design. Glad to see her win.

- Loved Michael's use of more white as opposed to most of the other designers' primary use of black. It was a nice change. The belt and handbag were very cool.

- I liked Uli's overall. There were a couple of details that kind of bugged me. Like the necklace. And the too long sleeves. But loved the print and the main part of it.

- I know Kayne got eliminated with this dress, but I liked it. At least most of it. Very simple, even with the funky back. People have to follow instructions, though. And the problem I have with that is that the judges don't always uphold that. Keith didn't always follow instructions and they kept him. In the past people have skirted instructions and gotten away with it. And I know that that's not really the reason Kayne was asked to leave, but this is just where the thoughts have come out. No, it was time for Kayne to go.

- Angela's was nuts. Let's just leave it at that.

- Vincent still thinks he's the bee's knees and I still think he's delusional. I thought the fabric of his garment looked very much like something he might have used back when he was designing before he took a break from the fashion world. In other words, I thought it looked kind of dated. And really, really plain.

- Jeffrey's also felt kind of dated to me. I think it's because I used to have a ragdoll that I think my grandmother gave me that had a dress of the same sort of black-and-white dots. And the leggings? What?

So far I've almost called the final three. I'd love for it to be Michael, Uli, and Laura. And, at this moment, I would love for Michael to win.

Here is my theory:

Since that one guy was kicked off prematurely, they had an extra episode slot to fill. They brought back Angela and Vincent, the two most hated designers, knowing that they wouldn't surpass the designers left. They could fill a slot, re-kick them off (GLORIOUS!), and get rid of one more person. I think it made people work extra hard to stay in the running (Laura) when it wasn't ever an issue.

I love Michael. Team Michael, right here.

I think you're right. At the same time, though, it was kind of ridiculous because, c'mon! Vincent and Angela were never ever going to break into the top four. (Even if I was still terrified Vincent somehow would.)

Team Michael! Michael makes me happy. He's just brilliant and talented and confident without being a jackass.
