Fell asleep during an episode of Law & Order. Didn't really matter because I called it within the first eight minutes. It's rare that a mystery anything really stumps me. Then watched Eureka with Mom. I have to admit, I was charmed before they hit their first commercial break. Should be an interesting. It was fun to see familiar actor faces. The weirdest was seeing Garry Chalk play yet another colonel (he was Col. Chekov on SG-1), but lacking a Russian accent.

Oh, and I finally caught David Cubitt on Medium. I've been trying to actually catch an episode with him on it without any lucky. So, yeah. I didn't even know he was on it until I was telling Mom about Traders and she recognized him.

And now because I am bored, a couple of random things:

- Really fabulous interview with Tim Gunn at the Chicago Tribune. He continues to be the best thing on reality TV.

- A short, not entirely serious piece about Stargate SG-1's numerical achievements, also at the Chicago Tribune. There's a casting spoiler in it, which I kind of would have preferred not to have known. I need to learn not to read any articles about SG-1/SGA because they don't mark things. I did know the person would be on the show, I just didn't know who they would be. Now I do, I'm excited, but it would have been much cooler to have been surprised.

Longest running sci-fi show in American television history though. Go them.

I liked Eureka. The characters were all interesting and I'd like to learn more about them. It was fun seeing actors that I know! Two of the scientist guys were on Smallville and coincidently they played scientists on that show too. And then there was the crazy crocadile hunter dog catcher. He was in Stephen King's The Stand. He was crazy in that one too.

I recognized maybe 2/3rds of the cast from other movies and shows. It's fun to play "who's that actor." And, y'know, the show is filmed in a small town not far from Vancouver, so I wouldn't be surprised if more recognizable faces turn up.
