It's Gouda!

annundrielToday was a good day, despite certain frustrations. And tomorrow, hopefully, will be good. Except for the quiz in Pre-Calc. Without our teacher. Fun times.
Tonight I tried to do my very small Physics assignment. Two problems. No big deal. HOWEVER, I have no freakin' clue what the hell I'm supposed to do. And do you know why I don't know what I'm supposed to do? Because Mr. Manning is the crappiest student teacher in the history of crappy student teachers. He doesn't teach! At all! He writes things on the board, stands in the way, teaches us part of what he writes, and then asks us to try a couple practice problems, claiming the whole time that "you'll only get good at this if you practice". Well, I can't practice if I don't even know what I'm practicing! I look at the problems and I have no idea where to even begin. *cries* Can't we have our real teacher back??
But my TA period was fun. Mr. Bush is such a fun librarian. Today there was a class doing research and Mr. Bush is standing there with a rolled up poster using it as a spyglass. "I have to look for sloops," he said, scanning the horizon. "I'm reading a book with sloops!" I said because, obviously, I am. "Well," says he, "when you finish reading your list of books, I have some you should read. The Patrick O'Brien books . . . " At this point I sort of freaked out, ran to my bag, and whipped out M&C. So we talked about that for awhile. I love books.
In other random news, I've completely hooked Tom and, to a lesser extent, Dad to Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. Mwuahahahaha. AND, Mrs. Lafser and I cast my play today! Cast list will be up tomorrow!!
