Back in the Saddle

Something happened within the last two days that suddenly reopened the Dean/Castiel writing floodgates. Weird.

I am not complaining. It's nice. Though, yet again, I started something with one intention and have become minorly derailed. It's like my brain goes, "Oooh, wouldn't it be better if things went this way?" and I go, "No, probably not," and my brain goes, "Yes! Let's try it!" Before I know it I've taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque and have stumbled into an area none of my maps cover. Though I imagine I'll stumble back into the original idea soon enough.

I've got an NCIS fic, also, based on one of jack_infinitude's prompts. Waiting to hear back from ginnith about it before pursuing in further.

NCIS FIc: Property Of (G)

Let me just say, it was so hard looking at pictures of DiNozzo and McGee trying to figure out their tastes in ties. ;) Except it was kind of hard because Tony seems to go for darker colors in general and Tim’s are all a bit more strippy and colorful. And occasionally maybe a little questionable in an “Aw, look at Tim trying to be grown up and professional” kind of way.

Which absolutely does not make me want to do an analysis of character growth based solely on McGee’s wardrobe. Really. It doesn’t.
