Getting Away
Jun. 4th, 2008 02:47 pmYesterday evening was craptastic. Here's hoping that the rest of today doesn't go the same route.
I am getting my haircut later, so maybe that'll cheer things up a bit. I always like having that done. Though this time I'm kind of at a loss over what to do. I have an idea of what I'd like to try, but I'm worried it'll look funky. So I'll give her a rough idea and let her do what she will. Hair isn't something I worry too much about when it comes to cuts - short, long, curly, straight - as long as I don't look dumb.
Next weekend (eta: by which I mean the 12-15) we're all headed for Seattle for EB's graduation. She's finally finishing pharmacy school. YEA!! I have mixed feelings about going. On the one hand, I am SUPER PROUD of her and want to see the family. On the other not so flattering hand, all we ever do is talk drugs and pharmacies when we visit and that gets boring for me quickly.
The plan is that Mom and I will go over Thursday and Dad and Grandma will come over Friday. EB's graduation is Friday afternoon, so that'll be a family day. I think Dad and Grandma are leaving either Friday night or Saturday morning, but Mom and I are staying until Sunday. YEA. mandapanda0521 since she'll be graduating on Sunday and then moving out of state. Sad panda. :( I'm looking forward to that. And possibly seeing olivelavonne. I think we talked about meeting up? I can't remember.
