Gee, You're Adorable
Dec. 6th, 2006 12:07 amI've got the new SGA to watch, but I'm going to do the responsible (pfft) thing and save it until after all of my finals are mailed off Friday. In the meantime, I was doing really well staying away from spoilers until I wasn't paying attention and BAM they snuck up on me. Sneaky bastards.
Mom and I are almost caught up with Torchwood. We just watched "Countrycide" tonight and how screwed up am I that I love that ep? Is it the similarities to The Hills Have Eyes? I think a lot of it probably has to do with the twist of who the bad guys are. And the whole team on a field trip. That's always fun.
Mom's started pointing out every time they're eating on-screen, which is kind of amusing because it happens a lot more than I realized. (Yea, food.) Also, you can totally tell we're related. In "Cyberwoman," when Jack told Ianto to get on his knees, Mom went all, ::eyebrow:: "On his knees, huh?"
Also, OMG, Nip/Tuck, just when I think I'm going to be disappointed by your tying up of loose ends and removal of all potentially horrifying situations, you deliver in the last minute! Way to make me flail around stupidly!

I got summoned for jury duty again. And, again, I can't go because I will be in classes and working in another county 160 miles away. That puts a stop to that.
Last Thursday my dad went to the sleep clinic in Wenatchee. That night he stopped breathing 70 times in an hour. Throughout the whole night he stopped 170 times. That's...really kind of frightening. So today we went to Moses and picked up the machine that supposed to keep him breathing through the night. He says he sounds like Darth Vader. I just want to know if it'll tone the snoring down.
In the car on the way to dinner, we got to talking about Star Trek (really randomly) and Mom asked me if I'd seen Picard singing on the bridge. I hadn't, so of course I had to look it up when we got home. So, for everyone who ever watched Patrick Stewart, especially as Picard, Picard singing. What I want to know is, "Why?"
