Two, apparently. One fiction writer and one poet.
I had to go to a poetry reading for my Ethnic American Lit class tonight. The poet was Marilyn Chin and I was impressed. The woman has presence when she reads. The poster said it was from 7:00 to 9:00, but it only lasted an hour. I would have liked to have heard her talk more about her writing, but I guess that will come tomorrow when she speaks to our class.
Tomorrow is also Tai Chi day in Asian Religions. A woman is coming from the UW to teach us about it.
This weekend I have to watch Raising Arizon for Art of the Film. Never thought I'd have to write anything about this film. Just thinking about it now gets the music stuck in my head.
Top Chef night! Who will be eliminated? At this point, I'm thinking it could be Miguel or Dave. They seem the weakest at this point. It's really anyone's guess, though, the way the competition's been going. Oh, drama!
