So, um, yeah. It's 2:00 AM, do you know where your kids are?

It's also Christmas Eve day, or whatever, and it does not at all feel like it. Won't feel like it even after I actually go to bed and then get up. And I predict that Christmas day won't actually feel like it either. Grandma thinks it's because I'm older now. Which is true. But I've felt like that for years. No, this year it just does not feel like it is that "special time" of year, y'know?

I dunno. Strange.

It is also strange to be having so much fun with my brother. We had the giggles so bad after dinner at Grandma's tonight. Talking about Smallville, with Mom. So much fun. Who knew he'd get hooked? And that we'd have similar thoughts on it? Amazing, really. The DVDs get popped in and we spend episodes randomly saying "Clark, you're dumb/Lana, you're dumb" over and over. Clark because he gets this look on his face every now and then that just *screams* Homer Simpson. Y'know, one word thoughts. "Oh, horsie!" "Oh, shiny!" Kinda like a caveman. Or the Hulk. Or that big red creature thing from Looney Tunes that would pick people up and say "I'm going to love you and hug you and squeeze you." With Clark, "dumb" is meant affectionately. <3 With Lana, it's just true. Tom agrees with me that she is annoying and self-absorbed. Of course, I did have to ask him if he just liked Chloe better because she was blonde. I don't think he ever answered me...

Anyway. They showed "Devoted" last night on the WB and Mom, Tom, and I watched it and we all yelled random things when it was funny, or annoying, or dumb. And they both admit it's gay. AND Mom makes the best comments laden with innuendo ever. Tom and I have also decided that they should do an episode in which Clark reverts to five years old and Lex has to figure it out. Also, Clark should make Lex buy monkeys. )

No one needs to know that.

The Shaun of the Dead DVD extras are friggin' HIlarious. <3 Best romantic zombie comedy ever.

So, yeah, Christmas. Saturday morning we're heading over to family in Seattle. Coming back here on Monday. Then next weekend, probably January 1, Dad will take me back to school. And it'll be back to the old grind stone once again.

SNOW.

Where are you??

I'm not complaining that we don't have snow, although it would be nice, but it's really *weird* that it's December 24 and so freakin' warm (low 30s). Snow would be nice, y'know. Because it actually allows you a really visual difference in the seasons. Right now everything is just boring and dry and brown. Blah.

Our Christmas tree is pretty, though.

Church in Royal tonight. Woo. Hopefully not bilingual. I don't think it will be, it hasn't been for several years, but you really never know.
