I want a massage. :(

Tuesday classes were cancelled due to snow. I couldn't believe it. Cherry/James Street was closed to through traffic and people went sledding/snowboarding down it. Some people built snowmen I think. Tris and Callie had a snow day too (I think all school districts in the area were closed) and they built a snow fort 105 feet long down their driveway. I wish I'd been there because I did nothing here at school. I could have gone out, but being the boring person that I am I sat around and did my homework. And read. For pleasure. During a quarter of college! *gasp!*

So I spent my snow day doing homework, reading, and watching TV. I saw the episode of The Simpsons where they go to Britain. Laughed so hard. Loved all of the British jokes. And the Harry Potter fandom nod. Then I saw my first episode of 24 and was actually quite entertained though I had no idea what was going on beside the plot that I picked up. I even saw most of The Real World on MTV (I think my IQ dropped a couple of points). That's the first time I've EVER watched anything on MTV. Basically I plopped myself down in the lobby all evening because it was warm down there in the TV room and not so warm in my room.

Why haven't I seen Cold Mountain yet?

The first words of the first chapter of one of my Origins of Western Civilization books are "Catherine Morland". They're quoting Jane Austen in my history book! *is a nerd*

Finally had my third class today. Finally. So my schedule looks something like, in fact it is remarkably similar to this:

-Monday: Intro. to Anthropology 9:30-11:35 am
Survey of Brit. Lit. I 1:20-3:25 pm
Work 7:00-11:00 pm

-Tuesday: Origins of West. Civ. 3:35-5:00 pm

-Wednesday: Identical to Monday

-Thursday: Identical to Tuesday

-Friday: Identical to Tuesday

How very exciting for me. It's kind of odd getting out of class in the dark. I guess that will change eventually. And working late is actually kind of nice. It's really quiet in the library during the day, but at that time it's SUPER quiet.

I'm supposed to go to dinner in ten minutes with my roommate and a friend. I want to go nooooow. Foooooood.

I want to see RotK again. Desperately. Before it's gone. Which, given its popularity and the moola it's making, should be quite a bit of time from now. Hopefully. *crosses fingers*
